To sue or not to sue







Chris GayleAfter Chris Gayle refused to honour his contract with Somerset to play there was a talk about suing him for breach of contract. However after receiving legal advice Somerset has decided not to go with legal action. They stated that the benefits of not suing outweighed those of proceeding with legal action. After fallout with his home team cricket board for controversial comments and remaining out of international cricket, he has returned to their fold after resolving the existing issues. The Somerset cricket club stated that they were disappointed but were ready to let the matter slide as Gayle had maintained communication and had been honest about the whole issue.

India won the toss and bat first







Indian team won the toss in three day tour match against Chairman’s XI. Indian Captain Dhoni chooses batting after winning the toss. The three day match between India and Australia (Chairman’s XI) is a practice match playing at Canberra. In the warm up game Indian main players, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Vinay Kumar are given rest. The warm up match between India and Chairman’s XI of Australia delayed to do rain.

Team India will play against Australia with Virender Sehwag(all rounder),Gambhir(Test opening specialist), Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, VVS Laxman(Middle order), Rohit Sharma, in the batting strength under the captainship of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The bowling part will be played by Ravichandran Ashwin(all rounder), Pragyan Ojha (spin specialist), Abhimanyu Mithun, Zaheer Khan(fast bowler), Umesh Yadav.
