Issues
Document review for a case in the discovery stage. 20182 documents to be reviewed in the FLR stage. Client KLM, insisted the Law firm ABC to outsource the document review to a credible firm in India to conduct DOCUMENT REVIEW to reduce cost. ABC conducted multi level due diligence and selected B&L for this task.
Theoretical Strategy
The approach involved detailed study and analysis of the Alaska Securities Law and Uniform Commercial Code.
Operational Strategy
Biz & Legis's LPO team was assigned to work on this. Study the case at hand Perform a first level review (FLR) of documents to determine the level of responsiveness / relevance with regard to the facts of the case or legal issue of the same. Initial review narrowed the document set to a responsive data set. Perform a second level review of documents to determine the level of privilege/confidentiality to be given to the same. Perform a third level review for in order to further classify documents as key / important for the case at hand. Deliver the Final Draft after "TOTAL QUALITY ANALYSIS". Do post delivery follow up.
Result
The document review was a well organized and classified document which helped the "ABC" in his litigation process. There had been substantial reduction of cost by 70% for the client (KLM).
